You'll work towards a qualification and work on products and services that will be used by millions (and which will look great on your CV). This is a permanent role with a starting salary of up to £35,711, as well as great benefits and flexible working. You'll be part of the UK's largest government department, as well as a thriving digital delivery community with access to learning, mentoring and loads of other support. Tell me about the apprenticeship We have apprenticeships in Digital Delivery Management based in our Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield digital hubs. You'll be able to indicate your preference when you apply. This is a Level 4 digital apprenticeship. We're looking to hire people to be future leaders and experts in digital delivery management. As an Apprentice Digital Delivery Manager, you'll be hands-on completing small projects or bit of projects. You might also support the end-to-end delivery of a larger digital project. You'll learn what project plan is and how to read and monitor it, identify potential risks & issues, and communicate effectively with your stakeholders and your team. So, you'll learn on the job alongside our brilliant, expert team. But you'll also be studying towards gaining a Level 4 Project Management apprenticeship qualification. You'll be given about 20% of your work time (one day a week) to focus on your qualification. You will be supported by your line manager, skills coach and the engineering community, as well as fellow apprentices on the programme. You don't need any prior experience or IT qualifications. But there is a lot to do and learn, so you need to be ready to work hard and participate in the many opportunities you will be given. We're looking for apprentices who have the following: Experience of organising and planning the tasks of others to achieve a particular outcome You can collaborate with others, and manage relationships. You have some experience of leading others. Good communication skills Good problem-solving skills, finding ways of improving things Ability to balance work and study, and passion for learning new things.Apply by: Completing your application on the Civil Service Jobs website before Sunday 13th October 2024. Entry Requirements: You hold a current United Kingdom (UK) or EAA Passport, and NI number You've lived in the UK and/or EEA for the past 3 years You're eligible to work in the UK and are not in full-time education (at the time the apprenticeship starts) Either hold GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above. Or you can complete and pass a functional skills tests if you don't have these GCSEs. You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
