PE Teacher

PE teacher - Bolton - Autumn term - ASAP start Prospero Teaching are looking for a PE Teacher for a Secondary school in Bolton. The role will start as soon as possible, and will be on a full time temporary basis for the Autumn term until at least Christmas. The school has a very supportive PE department. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. You will be required to teach classes across key stage 3 and key stage 4. The position is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers, all applicants will need to hold QTS. CONTRACT DETAILS Location Bolton Position PE Teacher Type of work PE Teacher Start date ASAP End date - December 2024 Full time Minimum rate of pay GBP153.85 per day Hours 8:30 am 4pm, plus parents evenings and departmental meetings as required EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS or equivalent Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided) Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however training can be provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
