My client is a leading provider of regulatory trading technology to asset managers and hedge fund and they are looking for an experience Software Delivery Project Manager to join their team. You will work on major implementations and upgrade projects using your technical understanding and past experience with financial software to deliver complex software within the parameters you set out in the Project plan.
My client is a multi-award winning software vendor and counts some of the biggest Asset Management, Hedge Funds and Private Equity firms globally amongst their extensive client list. You will receive top class training to familiarise you with the products and quickly become a valuable team member with expert knowledge of the applications.
For the role of Project Manager you will have the following responsibilities:
- You will set out project plans with clients to deliver regulatory software systems while managing administrative aspects of the implementations
- Provide routine project status report, regular updates to senior management within the business and clients, highlighting issues and progress changes against client budgets
- Successfully transition the client to technical support and relationship management in readiness for go-live
Requirements:
- Preferred experience within Regulatory, Compliance, Buy-side or Financial Service Software Vendor for at least 5 years in a software delivery project management role
- Hands-on experience implementing asset management regulatory software ideally Regulatory Reporting, Compliance, Surveillance or similar
- An understanding of the trade order flow from front to back – Either multi asset class knowledge would be preferable
- Exceptional written and oral communication to include presentation
- Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures and relational database structures; familiarity with SQL, FIX, Crystal Reports, messaging and web services a plus
