Field Services Engineer

The company hold a leading market share in the supply and maintenance of Bespoke Equipment such as letter openers, scanners, X-Ray Machines, Metal Detectors, Folder Inserters, Franking Machines, Address Printers & Pressure Sealers.The role will cover mainly the M1 corridor, between Watford and NottinghamMain Responsibilities:Aiming to be onsite at your first call of the day by 9amHaving a flexible attitude towards long distances and staying away from home overnight as requiredClearing all quarterly PM’s on individual areas4Assistance with clearing PM’s on vacant areas with the aim of achieving a company quarterly zero PM positionAchieve and maintain company breakdown SLA targetsDiagnose and repair faults, in an efficient, timely and cost-effective mannerAchieve and maintain a minimum 75% first time fix rateRespond to urgent requests for assistance out of area as requiredSkills: Good electrical/mechanical knowledge with good understanding of electronicsGood fault diagnosis skills and structured approach, ability to prioritise and allocate tasks as requiredGood fact-finding skillsGood commercial awarenessAim to achieve quarterly/yearly supplies and contribution sales targetsAim to achieve a good level of lead generationStructured and organized approachCompetent use of PC’s and e mailGood interpersonal/empathy building skillsGood presentation and communication skillsSalary - £30,000-£34,000OTE £32,000-£36,000 + Car, Phone, Laptop
