Teaching Assistant - One-to-One and Classroom Support Location: Co-Educational Secondary School in Westminster Are you a dedicated and motivated individual with a passion for supporting students' learning? We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join our team at a secondary school in Westminster. This role involves providing one-to-one assistance to a student for part of the day and offering general classroom support for the remainder. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one support to a student with specific learning needs for 1-2 hours daily. Help the student set and achieve academic goals and assist with daily tasks. Work alongside the teacher to implement a personalized learning plan. Offer emotional and academic encouragement to help the student thrive. Monitor and report the student's progress to the teacher. Support teaching across mainstream classrooms for the rest of the school day. Assist teachers with lesson preparation and help students with classwork and homework. Contribute to fostering a positive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.Qualifications: Ideally, an advanced degree in a relevant field. Previous experience working with students with special needs is preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
