DV/SC Service Technician, (221lw) –Physical Security/Electrical Engineering - Field Based – London/South East – £30k-£40k + uncapped Overtime (£50-60k+) Are you searching for your next career challenge within the construction industry? We have a rare and exciting opportunity within a rapidly expanding Service Team for a Service Technician. A current DV level clearance is ideal or as a minimum SC & the client will subsequently gain a DV for candidates. Hugely beneficial if candidates have experience of DC (Direct Current). As a Service Technician reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work as part of a team on servicing products to provide the business and its customers with technical support nationwide. You will accurately diagnose, and remedy reported faults as efficient as practicable with minimal disruption to the customer, always maintain a professional and positive attitude to all customers, and conduct PMV visits thoroughly, ensuring all required aspects are completed. It is vital within this role that you demonstrate high standards of workmanship to ensure quality repairs are conducted to ensure product reliability as well as continually always demonstrating Company Values. Responsibilities Ensure Response times are adhered to the best of your ability, consulting with the Service Schedulers before any changes are made to engineers’ schedules. Managing all spare parts carried on the van or specifically for Customers, ensuring stock levels are maintained and recorded accurately. Complete all required documentation in relation to the task in a timely manner. Adhere to Health and Safety requirements. Being flexible with working hours, as out of hours attendance including weekends may be required from time to time. Working efficiently, with overnight stays where travel is prohibitive, in consultation with your line manager. To be responsible for identifying/testing and return of faulty parts. To oversee and report on van stock levels ensuring that all stock used is booked out on worksheets / stock sheets. Accurate and complete timesheets are submitted in accordance with deadlines. Ensure you keep up to date with technical information and updates provided by the Technical Support Department. Comply with the Cyber Security processes of Clients and Customers.
