Credit Controller

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently representing our client who are a reputable international Manufacturing business. Our client is now looking for and experienced Credit Controller to join the business on a permanent basis. As the Credit Controller Your focus will be on managing credit control within your own set of customer accounts, meeting KPIs around cash collection and aged debt tracking. Key Responsibilities: * Proactive customer contact – calls and letters * Running collection letters * Document retrieval / provision. * Maintaining and enhancing good customer relations * Logging Queries/Debits to our Customer Service Team * Pursuing payment through regular telephone calls * Creating Customer Credit reviews for assessment. * Maintaining accurate records * Implementing changes in the company’s credit control system Requirements: * Minimum of 4 years within Credit Control is essential. * B2B experience is essential. * Experience of managing debts directly with Customers via phone and letter * Excel and Mapics experience an advantage. * Experience working on own initiative and self-managing. * Accuracy and attention to detail * Proactive and assertive approach with positive and confident attitude * Strong written, oral and telephone skills * Good time management skills * Self-motivated and able to work well on own * Knowledge of different payment terms, currency conversions, and legal regulations Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 08.30am-4.30pm & Friday’s 08.30am-4pm Salary & Benefits: * £26,000 - £30,000 DOE * 25 days annual leave * Companywide bonus scheme * Service and recognition awards. * Training and development opportunities * Company Pension * Life Assurance 4x salary, Discounted Gym Membership, Enhanced family friendly policies, Free annual flu vaccination vouchers, Employee assistance program, Cash health plan, Free home cyber security training, Cycle to work scheme. * Free onsite parking How to Apply: Please send your CV to the email address detailed below.
