The Position – SEMH Learning Mentor We are looking for x5 SEMH Learning Mentors to join our partnered SEMH school in Wandsworth! As a SEMH Learning Mentor, you will be the main point of contact for students in the group / class. You will be required to support academically as well as bulding strong rapport to promote positive behaviour. This SEMH Learning Mentor role requires resiliance, proactivity and empathy to work along side vulnerable students who have social and emotional mental health! You will be working with primary, secondary or sixth form students adapting activities and lessons to support the class teacher as well as creating a safe learning environment. The School – SEMH Learning Mentor This SEMH School is an all-through boys school catering to students with social and emotional mental health across primary, secondary and sixth form year groups! They are looking for support staff from various backgrounds such as; Youth work, social services, outreach, young offenders officers, coaches, residential care, creative arts etc. They have a therapy farm attached to the school site and they offer CPD throughout the academic year including team teach and safeguarding! This school is located in Wandsworth, South west London and is within walking distance to an overground and underground station as well as great bus routes! They also have free on-site parking!
