The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, driven salesperson. The role involves a focus around new business and account management of long term clients in an established product that has been delivery benefit for over 10 years. The successful candidate will be selling via phone, online meetings through teams or similar software and where possible face to face, especially at industry events. Full product training is provided along with onboarding and ongoing sales training where needed.
Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager at Digital Health, you will be responsible for consultative selling of our healthcare solutions, across our content business, focussed on selling annual subscriptions to data and services. Key responsibilities include:
Create and find qualified sales opportunities to sell research, consulting and similar products and services
Scoping pre sales opportunities for
Identifying new areas to sell to and providing market feedback for product enhancements and development
Build trust with prospects by understanding and listening to their needs and suggesting the appropriate solutions
Listening to clients’ specific needs and available budgets to maximise revenue, asking correct qualifying questions
Work towards individual monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets to achieve sales team targets
Proactively calling leads to schedule an in-depth meeting with the wider team
Log prospects and their interests within Salesforce and on internal pipelines
Keep up to date with healthcare sector news
Provide exceptional Account Management to existing and onboarding clients
Participate and attend external exhibitions and meetings
Liaise with the research team, directors, accountant, marketing and other departments to ensure business growth and that sales are administered correctly.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be highly driven, with at least 18 months experience in either r Subscription sales, SaaS or custom research sales and be able to demonstrate evidence of success in selling. An interest in digital healthcare is not expected but well received. Key skills include:
Solid level of B2B sales experience
Excellent customer/consultant relationship management
Excellent communicator with solid organisational skills
Natural interpersonal skills; sociable, self-motivated, resilient, professional, and keen to enjoy customer relationships
Strong written skills
Desired Qualifications:
Degree or Degree equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £40k- £45k per year
