Satcom Technical Lead

We are seeking a NGLT Technical Lead for a 3 months contract to permanent position. Start date : November 2024 The NGLT Technical lead is responsible for Satcom technical analysis for Mil Satcom land terminals used in highly resilient hostile conditions. The role involves analysis, documentation, generation, and flow down of detailed requirements. This work leads into technical responsibility for the approval of requirements with front line users, supplier technical negotiations, project cost modelling, planning, procurement, verification, and final acceptance within MOD following system tests with users. Background Required Mil Satcom Land Terminals background with circa. 10 years’ experience. Satellite Communication Link Budget Analysis in benign and Jammed conditions. Operational analysis for Satcom systems including data rate demand and capacity. Knowledge of Resilient Modem waveforms within a Mil Satcom environment. Domain knowledge of IP and Serial Baseband equipment, Crypto’s and Key management concepts.
