Quantity Surveyor

Linear Recruitment are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor on a freelance basis in Leeds city centre. It is working on a high-rise residential scheme with a minimum of a 6 month contract.

Job Duties:

* Oversee financial performance, budgets and monthly reports

* Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates and financial reports

* Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks

* Ensure strict adherence to industry standards and best practices

* Negotiating with subcontractors to achieve the best value

Experience required:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

* Ideal to have experience on high rise schemes but not essential

* Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with the ability to stick to strict deadlines

* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or related field
