HGV Driver Class 1

24-7 Recruitment Services are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers for a client based in Southampton. This will be an ongoing opportunity. Tramping - SOUTHAMPTON SO50 No Assessments required Minimum 6 months experience, ideally in a tramping role Temp - Perm Various start times - 10 hour runs SALARY: Hourly Rate from £16.25 per hour to £26.25 per hour Night out allowance of £25.00, based in set truck stops Fuel cards issued Paid Breaks Shift Patterns are as follows: Days available Start times starting from 5am - 8am Monday to Friday Weekend availability About the role: Tramping Delivering to sites such as Estee Lauder, Boots, Hamleys and many more A good attitude is key You will be working on relatively new vehicles from 2021 You will be assigned your own vehicle You will be expected to complete 10 hour runs Onsite Induction to be completed No Assessments required, however you will be buddied up for 4 weeks PPE Provided * YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:* A Full UK CPC Licence, Digi-Card & DQC Card 6 months experience No more than 6 Penalty Points on the license A good understanding of EU Drivers Hours & the WTD A good understanding of English, both written & verbal 24-7 RECRUITMENT SERVICES 24-7 is the UK's leading specialist provider of Transport, Logistics and Warehouse employment to a range of leading Blue Chip clients throughout the UK.
