QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Zenith People are currently working with a global manufacturing business based in the North-East. They are looking for an experienced Quality Management Systems Engineer to join their team. The purpose of this position is to further development Quality management Systems certificated to IATF16949:2016. Develop a program of audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards and conduct internal audits to plan DAY SHIFT WASHINGTON, TYNE & WEAR SALARY £42,000 to £48,000 PER ANNUM The role responsibilities: * Maintain and further develop the existing Quality Management System to ensure it satisfies the needs of the business. * Work with Corporate QMS teams to develop group level processes and documentation aligned to certificated standards and industry best practice. * Co-ordinate and facilitate customer audit and third-party audits (such as certification and surveillance audits). * Internal audit schedule planning - system/process/product audits across multiple production sites. * Carry out internal system/process/product audits across multiple production sites. * Monitor NCR and OFI status including supporting auditee with corrective action/improvement plans. * Supervise QMS technicians. * Mentoring and delivery of Quality Management System training as required. The person we’re looking for: * HNC or equivalent in related Quality Assurance/Systems/engineering or science subject. * Lead Auditor certification and experience preferred – IATF16949 / VDA6.3 or other certificated/regulated standards * Extensive experience of Quality Management System - IATF 16949:2016 / ISO9001:2015 / VDA6.3:2023 or other certificated management systems - system implementation, development and maintenance experience * Internal systems audit – experience of planning, conducting, monitoring. * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Microsoft Office experience If you are an experience Quality Management Systems Engineer, please click apply now
