Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to customers
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a 7.5-tonne entitlement
- Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks upto 150kg related to loading and unloading
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong communication and customer service skills are a must due to the nature of the role.
- Ability to work in a team to provide the best solutions for our customers.
