Location: London, UKFirm: Leading London Law FirmDepartment: Risk and ComplianceSalary: £48-£55,000We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Risk and Compliance department at a leading London law firm. The team is growing, and they are looking for a Compliance Officer who is eager to take on more responsibility and contribute to the firm’s continued success.As part of the Risk and Compliance team, you will work closely with a dedicated group of professionals, including two Compliance Assistants, the Risk & Compliance Manager, a Debt Recovery Solicitor, and the General Counsel, who also serves as the COLP and Money Laundering Compliance Officer.Key Responsibilities:Actively contribute to the management of risk and compliance within the firm, ensuring adherence to regulatory and legal requirements.Prepare and present detailed reports to the firm’s Reputation and Risk Committee, focusing on high-risk client and matter issues.Collaborate with the team to ensure the firm is compliant with all relevant anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and other regulatory requirements.Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of the firm’s risk management policies and procedures.Support the department’s growth, providing input and suggestions for improving processes and protocols.We are seeking individuals with 2-3 years of experience in a junior compliance role who are ready to take the next step in their career. Ideal candidates will:Have a strong understanding of high-risk client and matter issues, with experience in reporting on these areas.Possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to draft clear, concise reports.Be proactive, with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow within the risk and compliance field.This is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business, with exceptional training and career development provided.
