An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Engineer to join our Aberdeen base. The successful candidate will report to the Rental & Services Sales Manager and be responsible for managing a number of key customer accounts and providing technical sales support.
The candidate will hold a relevant engineering or offshore background and ideally 3-5 years’ experience working in the marine technology sector, with a proven track record in equipment rental or sales.
The applicant will need to demonstrate a confident “can do” attitude in a fast-paced environment and must be a team player. The applicant will need to be an excellent communicator and offer exceptional attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:
• Manage key customer accounts, ensuring customer
requests are processed effectively
• Interpreting and responding to customer enquiries and
identifying opportunities to sell complementary STR
products
• Proactively engaging with key customers and ensuring
customer service expectations are exceeded
• Recognising and progressing opportunities to work with
new customers
• Generating rental and sales quotations
• Managing the processing of customers’ orders
• Communicating clients technical requirements to the
workshop
• Supporting the business CAPEX process
• Contributing to business reporting and ensuring CCRs
are completed for areas of responsibility
• Supporting industry tradeshows and business
development activities
Requirements of Role
• Proven track record in marine technology sales/rentals
or relevant background in offshore survey and or ROV
operations
• Qualified in marine science or an engineering discipline
• Ability to drive and manage the sales process
• Excellent communication, influence and customer
relationship skills
• Knowledge of UK/EU Export Controls of dual use
equipment desirable
• Ability to communicate throughout the organisation structure

• Willing to travel
