Head of Conflicts – Prestigious Global Law Firm We are collaborating with a renowned global law firm seeking an outstanding individual to assume the role of Head of Conflicts. This is an exceptional opportunity to join their Risk & Compliance team, operating from their London office with a hybrid work model. The role is pivotal, offering a chance to shape and lead the firm's conflicts resolution strategy in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Project Management : Lead and successfully deliver a large-scale project to enhance the firm's internal conflicts processes and procedures. Conflict Resolution : Identify and resolve potential conflicts of interest and confidentiality issues arising from client matters, lateral hires, and mergers. Draft waivers and consent language required for conflict resolution and update the firm's Terms of Business as necessary. Policy Development : Draft and update the firm’s internal conflicts of interest policies and procedures. Training : Provide training to partners and staff globally on conflicts of interest and confidentiality. Reporting : Regularly report to the firm’s management, Conflicts Committee, and partners on conflicts-related issues. Team Building : Build and lead a team of analysts to support the firm’s conflict resolution and risk management efforts. Line manage and supervise those currently running conflict checks. Key Requirements Experience : Preferably 10 years of experience as a Conflicts Lawyer in an international firm. Leadership : Strong people management skills and experience in successfully leading a team. Knowledge : In-depth and hands-on experience of using IntApp suite of products (Open, Walls, etc.). Skills : Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Attributes : Demonstrable strategic and leadership skills, strong problem-solving and holistic risk assessment abilities, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
