Duties include providing one-to-one assistance, implementing individual education plans, assisting with personal care when needed, and using communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, and British Sign Language.Qualifications: SEND Qualification preferredEducation: Relevant educational background in Special Education or related fieldExperience: Prior experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferredKnowledge and Skills: Strong empathy and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, active listening abilities, proficiency in personal care, familiarity with PECS, Makaton, and British Sign LanguageWorking Conditions: The role involves working in a classroom setting with students with special needs.
