If you’re passionate, want to make a positive impact and share our values, we would love to hear from you!The Role:To support the Financial Controller (FC) in day-to-day and ad-hoc matters with regards to all activities within the transactional finance team, including managing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and cash control functions, to ensure accuracy and control of monthly and annual accounts, and to drive improvements within the team. What You’ll Be Doing:Manage, develop and mentor the transactional finance team (team of 10 in total)Oversee all purchase and overheads invoicesEnsure accuracy of data entry at all times ensuring all transaction details, item lines and tax are processed correctly, in adherence to company policiesEnsure accurate and consistent controls are in place and adhered to across all processes within the transactional finance team (including supplier statements, account customers and cash reconciliations) every period endProvide input on monthly cash flow forecasting As and when required by the team help to resolve transactional queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders acting as a key point of contactReview and approve payment runsMaintain accurate records, control reports and clean audit trails for year-end financial audits Support the FC in delivering ad hoc projects, including identifying opportunities for process improvements and a strengthened control environment.
