Vacancy - Maintenance Planner Are you seeking a role in which you be the principle contract and liaison between the maintenance department and operational planning? Do you thrive on providing an efficient and effective plans for the engineering department? We are seeking a Maintenance Planner for our Mersey Cluster at the Port of Liverpool, and help us keep the world moving! Your Role In this role you will ensure the area, department of facility you are assigned receives professional maintenance service in a timely manner, ensuring high equipment availability and performance. You will review planned work requests from assigned areas and determine the validity and accuracy of the information, engaging with the appropriate resources to set priorities. You will ensure adherence to internal and external legislation and completion of all statutory maintenance tasks. You will identify and source all parts and materials required to complete tasks by providing stores with a requisition for work order and any special kitting information. Accurately and consistently inputting data into the CMMS (SAP), you will be a competent SAP User and provide up to date yearly resource plans and bottom up budgets. You will advise managers and supervisors on work load, labour requirements, spares availability and the ability to meet work deadlines. What you'll bring You will have strong technical ability (electrical or mechanical), ideally gained within a heavy engineering environment. You will preferably be qualified to a minimum HNC (or equivalent) in either electrical or mechanical engineering. With strong team working skills and the ability to influence, you will have excellent communication skills and be confident when presenting relevant information to all levels of the business. You will have the ability to create and deliver efficient and effective engineering plans and have the knowledge of planning tools and techniques. You will have strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, such as PUWER, LOLER, EaWR, PSSR, Asbestos Management and BS7121. Who are we?
