Children's Support Worker

Highbridge Resourcing urgently require full time and part time support workers to work with children and young people in accomodation across Weston Super Mare. The independent living service offers a 1-2-1 specialist therapeutic placement for children and young people with mental health problems and complex needs. The purpose of all placements is to offer a safe, structured and nurturing environment for children and young people who are leaving care. Full time or part time hours to suit, shifts are either long days with sleepins or waking nights. Day rate £12.83 per hour, sleepin rate £72.50 per sleep The ideal candidate will: * Have a level 3 in health and social care, children’s and young people services, or equivalent * Be a driver with access to own transport * Have at least 6 months paid experience in childrens/young people or similar support worker role * Have excellent communication skills – written and verbal * Be motivated, flexible, and reliable * A current DBS or happy to undertake a new one Please contact Steve Roberson on (phone number removed)
