Job Details
Working closely with the Operations Manager, to have responsibility for the profitable management and safe delivery of projects to customers satisfaction by delivering on time, to budget and meet both quality and safety standards.
They are currently looking for a Electrical Project Manager to work out of their offices in Cardiff.
Candidates must have demonstrable experience managing installations on M&E Projects.
Managing sub contractors on site to keep programmes on target
The Candidate
Time served NVQ/C&G in Electrical Engineering
Must have demonstrable experience of working on similar projects with building services M&E contractors
Technical background is desirable M&E is preferable but the projects are a mix of building, civil, M&E and other specialisms
Must be comfortable with CDM Regs (Construction Design Management regs)
Good knowledge of H&S paperwork and reporting
Ideally IOSH, SMSTS qualified, etc
Skills and Knowledge
- A proficient knowledge of health & safety and Environmental legislation
- Fully conversant in CDM, and it s implementation.
- Will have managed relevant health & safety courses (SMSTS preferred)
- Wide site management experience
- Have appropriate building service industry experience
- Knowledge of construction contracts and procedures
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings
- Good negotiation skills
- IT skills
