HGV Technician

• Service, maintenance and repairs of a range of HGV units above the minimum standard.
• Diagnosing and rectification of vehicle and trailer faults.
• Preparing vehicles and trailers for MOT.
• 6 Weekly inspections
• Fully compliant with all company health and safety policies
• Able to work unsupervised or as part of a team on larger jobs.
• Maintain a clean work area
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Class 1 license preferable but not essential
• Welding experience preferable but not essential

The package

• up to £17.50 p/hr DOE Basic 40 hours. O/T paid at 1.5 x basic rate
• On call based on a rota basis
• Mon-Fri 0730 1800, 30 mins unpaid lunch
• Alternate Saturdays 0700-1200 in addition to weekly hours
• Continual training given.
