Credit Analyst - Asset Finance

My client is an exciting, dynamic and entrepreneurial new start Asset Finance lender in the UK market. The team are highly reputable and experienced, and will aim to provide a tailored and commercial approach to customers by offering bespoke and flexible Asset Finance funding structures. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a Credit Analyst to join their team. This is the first type of role in the business and you will be responsible for sitting between the credit underwriting and sales team and will assist with the execution of new asset finance transactions through quality credit analysis and risk management, whilst ensuring that deals are being progressed quickly, efficiently and accurately. As the majority of deals are refinance related, the deals are complex and very hands on in nature. The role is office based in the City of London but will involve accompanying the team to prospect meetings.

Key requirements include: 2+ years' experience in Asset Finance working for a lender Experience in an analytical or credit related role Detail orientated and strong analytical skills Good commercial and financial acumen Good understanding of financial statements and ability to analyse them Good customer service and negotiation skills Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
