Who we are looking forState Street Global Technology Services (GTS) is seeking a skilled and proven Controls Assurance, Vice Presidenttosupport a revamped controls assurance program to ensure implementation of the right level of standards and policies. This candidate should have experience delivering outcomes with operational excellence.  The candidate should have experience with company risk and controls assurance; they will work across business lines and with the second and third-line partners to help improve our risk management standing.What you will be responsible forAssist with the review and enhancement of current standards to fulfill regulatory expectationsReview end-to-end processes that are operating in the GTS environment to assess effectiveness around supporting the standardsReview the control effectiveness from a process effectiveness perspectiveHelp to remediate document gaps against optimal process effectivenessSupport remediation actions or supporting strategic programs necessary to address gapsProvide regular status updates and supporting project management reports; deliver reporting for senior managementWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleKnowledge of Technology Risk and Cybersecurity frameworks and standards (COBIT, NIST & ITIL etc.,) is required.Familiar with and has experience managing, global initiatives including timelines, status, interdependencies, resource allocation, risk and issues managementFlexibility to operate in a constant changing environmentAbility to operate in an agile manner to address challenges that come upStrong project planning skills and expertise in program management, across multiple work-streamsCandidate is knowledgeable with effective business writing methods and techniques and can clearly articulate impactful messagingSkilled in producing reporting for seniorCandidate can work independently while sharing expertise with colleagues and othersAbility to solve complex problems with support from managementManages stakeholder needs and expectations while providing consistent and regular communications with support from managementSupports the fulfillment of organizational strategies and objectivesAble to effectively balance multiple tasks through careful prioritizationCandidate can work collaboratively with others to produce a quality work productAdvanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.Education & Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, IT Security, Risk Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 8 - 10 years proven experience with general risk management, auditing standards, and best practice.Why this role is important to us Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
