KO2's client, a leading innovator in AI-driven image processing, is seeking a highly skilled iOS Developer with Swift 5 experience. This exciting 6-month contract offers an iOS Developer a unique opportunity to work on advanced image processing algorithms that bridge the gap from scientific solutions to commercial products. You will help productionize mature algorithms and develop solutions that are critical to the business. Key Responsibilities: As an iOS Developer, you will work on deep-level integrations within the tech stack, with a specific focus on Core Image for iOS and camera optics. Implement and refine image processing techniques to meet product requirements. Help ensure the SDK, which wraps around the algorithms, is effectively maintained and serviced. Collaborate with cloud systems to ensure seamless communication between the app and the backend. Some of the below experience would be desirable: iOS experience with Swift 5 and UIKit .Net MAUI Strong understanding of image processing (CoreImage, OpenCV) and camera systems (AVFoundation, Camera2, CameraX). Software engineering skills focused on modern best practices like SOLID, Clean Architecture, TDD, and experience with CI/CD and automation. A pragmatic approach to testing and building scalable, maintainable code. Contract details: Rate- up to £600 per day - outside IR35 Contract length- 6-months Location- Preston (onsite 2 days a week) Start date- asap Please contact Andrew Knight or Chris Oddy to discuss this role in further detail.
