The Business Development Manager's primary responsibilities include overseeing the food service strategy for the business. Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
Develop comprehensive business strategies to penetrate new markets and expand market share within existing territories.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including food service providers, restaurants, hotels, and catering companies.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and negotiations.
New Business Development:
Bring a suite of potential clients that the candidate already has existing relationships with.
Prospect and acquire new clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Identify and pursue business opportunities that align with the company's objectives and target market.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Develop sales forecasts and set targets to achieve revenue goals.
Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
