Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant Location: Sleaford Salary: £83.33 - £95.00 per day Start: ASAP  GSL Education are striving to look for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant in the charming town of Sleaford. Being involved in a supportive setting and giving crucial support to kids who need it most is a fulfilling opportunity. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom activities and facilitating student learning. This position involves assisting teachers in delivering effective lessons, providing targeted support to students and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities of the Level 2 Teaching Assistant: Deliver focused assistance to students, helping them with their academic tasks and ensuring they understand lesson content. Work alongside classroom teachers to plan and execute engaging and inclusive lessons. Observe and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and suggesting interventions where necessary. Assist in managing classroom behaviour, fostering a respectful and orderly environment. Aid in the preparation and organisation of classroom materials and resources to enhance the learning experience. Support the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with additional needs. Requirements of the Level 2 Teaching Assistant: Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in supporting children within a school setting. Relevant qualifications, including Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or equivalent. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, patient, empathetic and understanding approach to engaging with students, staff and families. A dedication to creating a welcoming and encouraging learning environment. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
