We are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Sheffield, with a focus on delivering phonics intervention sessions to small groups of students. Key Responsibilities: Supporting Year 1 students in their phonics development through tailored, small group intervention sessions. Assisting class teachers with general classroom duties and providing one-to-one support where needed. Helping students build confidence in reading and writing, ensuring progress in their phonics understanding. Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.What We're Looking For: Previous experience working in a primary school setting, ideally with phonics knowledge. Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting young learners. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
