Full Stack Engineer

As a Fullstack Developer with a focus on backend, you will play a key role in shaping our product and ensuring its scalability and reliability. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Django and Django REST Framework, with a strong focus on scalability and performance. Architect and build RESTful APIs to support our web and mobile platforms, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components. Take responsibility for the end-to-end development cycle, from technical design and implementation to deployment and monitoring. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to understand user needs and deliver high-impact features. Maintain and optimize database design and data storage solutions, primarily using PostgreSQL or MySQL. Ensure the security, performance, and maintainability of the backend codebase. Contribute to fast-paced development cycles, adapting quickly to changing requirements and new technologies. Take ownership of deploying and managing applications in AWS environments, leveraging tools like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda. Utilize frontend frameworks like React and Next.js, to contribute to the development of frontend web applications. Qualifications : 2 years of hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework in a production environment. Strong backend development skills, with a deep understanding of Python and web frameworks. Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and security. Proficiency in relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, including complex query optimization. Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React and Next.js, with the ability to contribute to the frontend as needed. Experience working in tech startups or social media environments is a strong plus. Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges. Ability to adapt to fast-paced development cycles and work both independently and collaboratively. Desirable Skills : Experience with AWS infrastructure and deployment practices, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker. Understanding of serverless architectures and microservices. Knowledge of GraphQL. Prior experience with frontend state management libraries like Redux.
