Job Description:
They are currently seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee a highway project in Gatwick. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction teams and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations on the highway project site.
  • Coordinate and manage site activities, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress and report on any issues or delays.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintain a high standard of work.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Foreman or Site Supervisor in highway or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods and safety regulations.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction or engineering (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS).
