Site Manager (Hiring Immediately)

**MES SPEN Framework Contract** is recruiting for a **Site Manager** to work on our **SPEN** Contract in **Central Scotland** As the Site Manager you will be part of our **Construction Team** who are responsible for **t** he repair and maintenance of all SPEN underground assets. Along with this we install new connections and network investment works. **As the Site Manager your responsibilities will include:** Include the management and resourcing of Contracts to maximise the profit and minimise costs by:- * Developing good working relationships and close liaison with clients, project team members and all interested parties * Dealing with variations and valuations (submission and settlement) * Managing health, safety, quality and environmental issues * Managing human resources issues * Ensuring operatives are suitably trained and competent by identifying needs and refresher training * Handling customer issues to suitable resolution. * Maintaining a standard of high quality work. * Controlling overtime and wages payments, * Carrying out prevets ensuring a first time cost effective resolution on site * Monitoring overall projectcontract performance This list is not inclusive or exhaustive and other reasonable duties will be expected. **** **Skills & Knowledge Requirements** * Technical civil construction knowledge under HAUC and NRSWA * Awareness of SPEN Policies and procedures and distribution power engineering, including LV, HV upto and including 33kv distribution systems * Commercial awareness * Ability to work well under pressure * Possess good interpersonal and communication skills * Computer literacy * Ability to motivate people to reach common goals * Ensuring compliance with all MES policies, procedures and appropriate legislation **What’s in it for you?** * 25 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday * Pension scheme * Life Assurance * Private health care * Company car and fuel card #MorrisonEnergyServices #LI-LP1 #LI-Onsite #appcastSM
