Job Title: Site Supervisor (Solar Farm Project - Temp to Perm) Location: Leamington Spa, Coventry Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Temporary with potential to become Permanent About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee operations on a solar farm project in Leamington Spa, Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a renewable energy project with the potential for the role to become permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe running of the site, managing teams, and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the project. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage all on-site activities, ensuring that the solar farm construction is completed on schedule and within budget. Coordinate the work of site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly those relevant to solar farm construction. Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management and stakeholders. Manage site logistics, including the delivery, storage, and installation of solar panels and related equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets the required standards and project specifications. Resolve any issues that arise on-site quickly to prevent delays or cost overruns. Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the project meets all technical and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, safety reports, and progress updates.Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, ideally with experience in renewable energy or solar farm projects. Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety practices, and quality control specific to solar farm installations. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications related to solar energy. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines. CSCS card required. SMSTS or SSSTS qualification is highly desirable. Experience with solar PV installations would be a strong advantage
