Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

you must come from a CNC Machine shop background Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance engineer, based at their manufacturing unit in Trafford Park. Working 37 hours per week on a 3-shift rotating pattern in line with the Flexible Working Scheme. Skills & Experience:  Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams  Have good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels  Have the ability to work shifts and additional hours when required  Time served and have worked within a heavy industrial environment  Must be able to work effectively on own initiative and as part of a team  Experience with CNC lathes, machining centres an advantage  Knowledge of health and safety principles. Responsibilities: Responsible to the line manager your role will include:  Providing breakdown cover - mechanical  Assisting fitters with mechanical breakdowns and repair work  Identifying and leading improvements to processes  Carrying out preventative maintenance work in line with PPM schedules  Fault identification  Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard Education / Qualifications:  Strong fault finding ability  BTEC HNC Mechanicall Engineering or equivalent To apply please forward your cv in word format
