Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritize improvementprogrammes, seeing them through from start to finish. Enhance operational performance on every programme in partnership with yourstakeholders A day in the life As a Senior Programme Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation ofcreative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects andprogrammes. You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficientproject plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely,depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks. Senior Programme Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll dealwith complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With aresponsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could alsocontribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity,and inclusion. About the team Amazon shipping offers Amazon’s logistic capabilities as a product andservice. Amazon Shipping’s first customers are sellers in the UK, offering toship their domestic volume using our delivery network. Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an experienced leader to join the Programsteam. You will be a natural self-starter who is comfortable supporting large,complex cross functional programs and will have a true hands-on approach,strong program management and analytical skills, and be an effectivecommunicator. You will be part of the core team that will bemanaging the Amazon Shipping business and operations across all legs of thesupply chain (first mile, middle mile and last mile).
