Key job responsibilities Create innovative solutions using data and research to address widerchallenges in your organization. Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, drivingimprovements across a range of teams and organizations. Work alongside senior leadership to establish and prioritize improvementprogrammes, seeing them through from start to finish. Enhance operational performance on every programme in partnership with yourstakeholders A day in the life As a Senior Programme Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation ofcreative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects andprogrammes. You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficientproject plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely,depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks. Senior Programme Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll dealwith complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With aresponsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could alsocontribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity,and inclusion. About the team Amazon shipping offers Amazon’s logistic capabilities as a product andservice. Amazon Shipping’s first customers are sellers in the UK, offering toship their domestic volume using our delivery network. Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an experienced leader to join the Programsteam. You will be a natural self-starter who is comfortable supporting large,complex cross functional programs and will have a true hands-on approach,strong program management and analytical skills, and be an effectivecommunicator. This is a great opportunity to join an entrepreneurial business that isgrowing at an incredible pace. You will be part of the core team that will bemanaging the Amazon Shipping business and operations across all legs of thesupply chain (first mile, middle mile and last mile). You will also be leadingthe development of our operational product to deliver a world class customerexperience, and the design and implementation of new operating solutions toenable the delivery of strategic targets (service, growth, cost). ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicatingresults to senior leadership - Experience in program or project management ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Masters degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education,organizational development, instructional design or related field - Experience leading process improvements Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
