HGV Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing network within our clients Depots across the country. Shifts are available on full time or part time basis and as we are open 7 days, there is flexibility in the working week you choose. If you want be part of a team that plays a vital part of the delivery process, then this is the role for you! Our client is responsible for the delivery of parcels to a nationwide network where you be delivering to Hubs, Depots and Delivery Units liaising with colleagues here to ensure a smooth delivery. A typical day in the life of a HGV Class 2 Driver will include up to 10 drops, efficient driving of the vehicle adhering to road safety standards and effectively completing paperwork. Support is always available as we know that things can arise daily when navigating British roads, the friendly transport team are always available to help you a navigate through any issues. Shifts Available: Night shift (start around 22:00) - Mainly Friday nights and Sunday nights AM shift (start around 06:00) - Saturday AM and Sunday AM Pay rate is £13.70 raising to £15.19 Benefits for working for us: · Increased rates from £11.02 per hour and after 12 weeks rising to £11.50 per hour · Remote registrations · Temp to perm opportunities · Flexibly working to suit you, build your rota with our team in advance · Paid inductions · Weekly pay · Friendly and approachable team · Full training provided · Free car park · Onsite canteen Essential skills and requirements for a HGV Class 2 Driver: We require you to have a full UK Driving Licence with a HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement. An up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (CPC Card) In date Digital Tachograph Card No more than 6 points on your Driving Licence (No CD, DD, DR, DG Convictions) Newly qualified drivers are welcome as well as those with experience and all drivers are expected to undertake a short driving assessment which includes a brief written test so basic English is required to complete this.
