In an operations role here, you'll gain exposure to every part of the business. Early on, you'll have the chance to take charge of processes.
Automation of post-trade activities is key here as they execute millions of trades daily. With support from the team, you'll refine and develop new processes using technical skills like Python, Go and SQL. You'll also address a variety of daily challenges, requiring frequent interaction with other teams and external partners.
On top of the technical skills, strong business knowledge is required - you'll need a few years of operations experience across a wide range of asset classes, relating to Middle-Office processes (reconciliation, PnL, risk, treasury etc.).
Everything this firm do has some form of mathematical backing - a STEM background would see you fit in well here.
