Senior Lawyer

Hours : 35 hours per week Contract role : 3 months (rolling) Start Date : As soon as possible Hybrid (3 days in-office) Job Overview We are looking for a Senior Lawyer with a strong background in public sector housing litigation. The role involves managing cases to Lexcel standards, providing advocacy in County Court, and handling debt recovery and insolvency procedures. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the office. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and representation on public sector housing litigation matters. Manage debt recovery and insolvency procedures effectively. Advocate in the County Court for relevant cases. Maintain efficient case management according to Lexcel standards. Work collaboratively with team members on various legal issues. Undertake research into different areas of law when necessary. Travel to attend court and tribunals as required. Key Requirements: Proven experience in public sector housing litigation. Expertise in debt recovery and insolvency procedures. Experience in advocacy within the County Court.
