Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are currently looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work with one of our Main Contractor clients in West London. My client specialises in construction services, support services, and infrastructure investments and made just short of £10bn in revenue last year. The initial project will be the new build of low-rise housing estate project. This is a rural development on the outskirts of West London with 70 apartments, terraced homes, and detached houses. About the role: * Candidate must have experience in overseeing brick and block works. * Making cost estimations * Managing expenses during construction projects * Communicating with the accounting department and construction teams * Ensuring work doesn't exceed established budgets * Providing advice on contractual claims and disputes * Tracking changes to design and construction work and adjusting budget projections accordingly
