I am currently representing Camden Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6+ months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience
We are looking for a Locality Leader this role will be: EC1R4SR
The right candidate will:
You will provide strategic leadership to further develop family hubs and associated partnerships, using the principles of integration and an inclusive approach to service planning and delivery for families 0-19 or 25 with SEND.
You will be responsible for leading and managing start for life services and workstreams for families in the first 1001 days in line with Camden’s Best Start strategy. Reducing inequalities and focusing on improving access to support by families experiencing the most disadvantage will be a key priority.
Locality Leaders work in a designated locality, leading prevention and early intervention services 0-19 and 25 with SEND. The Locality Leaders take a strategic approach to partnership working, as well as promoting and supporting the further integration of services to improve outcomes and reduce inequalities for children from their families.
* Contribute to the overall development and direction of the Early Years and Family Hub Service, influencing service planning and design
* Provide leadership across the locality working to ensure that all provision is of high quality and contributes to improving children’s outcomes in line with the outcomes framework for family hubs
* Further develop family hubs as trusted and welcoming places in the community where families can ask for help and information
* Lead and manage start for life services ensuring there is effective support families in the first 1001 days and the early years
* Ensure family hub buildings effectively support the co-location of a wide range of professionals and identify opportunities for extending services for families with school age children.
* Lead and manage a wide range of work streams and change programmes across the service ensuring effective use of resources .
* Use population and performance data and insights from families and partners to understand of the needs of families and service take-up in the locality, using creative solutions to ensure families who would benefit most take up services.
We require the following:
* Experience working within a local authority DESIRABLE.
* An experienced manager with the ability to take a strategic approach to service design and delivery
