Finance Manager UK & Nordics

Our client, a leading Multinational Company, is currently looking for a: Finance Manager UK & Nordics Areas of responsibility: Review & interpret weekly business reports, includes financial and non-financial measures against prior periods and targets Review month end profit and loss accounts to ensure results are presented correctly Prepare month end commentary and financial review presentations for the regional management team Ensure deadline adherence in order to facilitate consolidation of regional results Prepare adhoc analysis as required by the business to improve understanding of business performance Undertake original analysis of the business in order to identify opportunities for performance improvements Review of capital expenditure proposals to ensure payback analysis & recommendations are sound Manage the preparation of detailed financial plans for the brand including annual strategic plan, annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts Engage functional counterparts in the planning process to incorporate their expert views into the financial plans in order to deliver a ratified plan to the executive Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce Degree (Economic, Accounting, Finance) and Post Graduate Qualification – CA/CPA/CIMA 10 - 15 years of rounded experience in Finance with background in the Retail industry Skills in Financial Management and Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting Ms Office; SAP, Hyperion Essbase or TM1 would be an asset Ability to influence and manage a set of strong, senior stakeholders across Europe High attention to detail – track record of providing high standard of work Build/help the team to develop their technical and soft skills English fluent Location: London, UK
