Trainee Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer (Unqualified Assessor)

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors Job Title: Trainee Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer (Unqualified Assessor) Do you have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working as a Manager within a Residential Children’s Home? Do you have a passion and interest for training and developing others? Our client is looking for the successful candidate to possess a solid history within Residential Childcare at Care Manager level within a Children’s Home – full training and support to become a qualified Assessor is provided. We can also consider candidates who hold a teaching qualification or assessor award but perhaps haven’t utilised it recently. Location: Home/Field based covering the South East Coast Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience) + Excellent bonus scheme, up to an additional £10,000 OTE! Package: Excellent Benefits Package, Bonus, Pension, Expenses + much more Type: Full Time, Permanent Essential Criteria: Hold strong, occupational competency at Management level within a Residential Childcare setting. Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum. Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle. Must be flexible with travel.Duties include: Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5. Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2. Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted. Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners. Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress. Support, advise and motivate learners.
