Associate Director (Structural Engineer)

Associate Director - Building Structures MIStructE or MICE Permanent Central London £60,000 - £70,000 Based in Central London this highly profitable SME structural consultancy are seeking to employ an Associate director on a permanent basis as their practice continues to grow. They currently have 16 technical design engineers and a further 4 admin support staff as well as the directors. The role will require you to manage the technical staff on a daily basis whilst also managing a number of projects directly. Whilst you will also be meeting clients and attending meetings the main focus of this role (75%) is to manage the technical staff on a daily basis and ensure the work leaving the business is correct and to a high standard. You will be a chartered engineer with a confident approach to managing staff and projects and comfortable taking design decisions. You must have good communication skills and have experience working at a senior level on building structures projects in the UK.
