This Supply Support Staff role is for you, if you have: A strong work ethic Strong organisation skills The ability to communicate well with pupils, staff and parents Confidence to use your initiative Previous experience supporting children in a classroom environment A qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a BA Hons Degree in Education (desirable) Creativity and innovative ideas to engage and motivate pupils The ability to effectively report and record pupil progress A passion for education and training Expectations of working as supply support staff includes: The ability to work to a flexible schedule Working hours between 8:15AM and 4:00PM Supporting children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 Working in a 1:1 or group capacity Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies Adhering to behaviour policies Some knowledge of the National Curriculum A commitment to education and training The ability to commute across Retford Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS CertificateSharon is currently working with Academics and this is what she has had to say: "I have been placed in wonderful schools with fantastic people.
