CNC Machinist

A CNC Machinist is required to join a manufacturing company based in Leicester. This position is required to work on three shift patterns. Your duties and responsibilities will include: · Operating CNC G Machines, ensuring that parts are machined by the agreed method specification · Attain machine setting skills to enable machine setups in line with Company requirements. · Understanding of engineering drawings, ensuring that fixtures are correctly aligned · Inspecting parts in line with quality procedures and taking any necessary, approved, action to resolve quality issues · Operating CMM machines to support inspection requirements. · Consistently achieving all targets (production, quality, housekeeping etc), as the Cell Manager sets. · Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including SOX, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety. Requirements for the position of the CNC Machinist: Previous experience in CNC EDM is advantageous but not essential. Previous experience in CNC machining is advantageous. Experience within the Aerospace sector is advantageous. Ability to read engineering drawings Able to self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment Experience of using machinery is advantageous.Hours: AM Shift: Monday to Thursday 05:45 am to 1:45 pm / Friday 05:45 am to 10:45 am PM Shift: Monday to Thursday 1:45 pm to 9:45 pm / Friday 10:45 am to 3:45 pm Nights: Monday to Thursday 9:45 pm to 05:45 am / Friday 3:45 pm to 8:45 pm Pay: £16.95 If you think this role is right for you then APPLY NOW!
