As a Floor Supervisor of Barnsgrove, we are seeking an experienced and personable individual to help support the Club Manager with day-to-day operational duties.
The Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations within the club. This includes overseeing staff, coordinating service across departments, and ensuring that all members receive outstanding experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Supervise the daily operations of the club, including Palmers, Orchards, reception, and all event areas.
Ensure smooth coordination between departments (front-of-house, kitchen, cleaners, etc.).
Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring all club areas are prepared and presentable.
Maintain and enforce club policies, standards, and health & safety regulations.
Staff Supervision:
Lead, motivate, and manage staff to deliver outstanding member service.
Assign duties and shifts, ensuring appropriate staff coverage at all times.
Provide on-the-job training and support to ensure staff are performing to high standards.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
Event Management:
Assist in the planning and execution of private events, dinners, and functions.
Work closely with the Membership & Events Manager to ensure all member events run smoothly.
Supervise set-up and break-down of events, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines.
Inventory & Supplies:
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, food, beverages, and equipment.
Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records of usage and orders.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
