The Place: Our Client is looking for a talented Head Chef, a chef who is looking to take that next step up and become part of this highly skilled senior kitchen team in the Highlands, you will assist in leading the brigade in producing great food and adhering to all company policies at all times. The Job: This Head Chef role's main responsibilities are ensuring the brigade delivers the very best, both service and product. You will be heavily involved with the Executive Chef & Sous Chefs, in writing and designing new and exciting menus, and you will ensure the profitability is met in all constructed dishes. Making sure that you and your team comply with all health and safety regulations, is at the heart of the business, it is all about training and developing all members of the team, and ensuring that all learning and development plans are completed thus helping to drive standards and retain enthusiastic and quality driven individuals passionate about food. The Person: The ideal candidate for this Head Chef role will have experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel, preferably in the UK. You will have excellent kitchen finance knowledge, be able to demonstrate a great understanding of food and current trends, have the ability to work well under pressure and be proactive. This Head Chef role is ideally suited to a Chef looking for their first role of team responsibility, and wanting to make a mark in the culinary world. Your CV will show consistency and longevity in each of the positions you have held, it will also clearly demonstrate a cv that is at ease with both events and at ease with attention to detail through premier and fine dining restaurant cuisine at a high rosette level.
