We’re looking for an ambitious and creative Shopper Marketing Manager to join this companies growing marketing team and help drive brand visibility and customer loyalty. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape innovative strategies, work closely with major retail partners, and bring your visionary ideas to life.The role will see you work both strategically and operationally, so you'll need to be someone not afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. This may be a small team environment, but it’s one packed with knowledge and expertise.Strategy:Develop an insight-driven shopper marketing strategy aligned with business and brand objectives.Craft recommendations for messaging and strategies across the customer journey to maximize impact.Planning & Execution:Create persuasive selling decks using insights and data to pitch to key retail partners.Design and implement activation programs that resonate with both brand strategy and retailer goals.Lead the execution of both in-store and online marketing activations, with a strong focus on NPD (New Product Development).Develop category-based shopper initiatives that disrupt traditional shopping habits, securing buy-in from retailers to bring them to life.Manage the shopper marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation, management, and tracking of spend.Oversee UK and international shopper marketing plans, ensuring seamless execution.Take full ownership of POS (point of sale) materials and marketing collateral.Handle trade PR and manage entries for trade awards.Analysis:Leverage strong commercial acumen to allocate budgets wisely and evaluate ROI on marketing activities.Test, learn, and optimize different creative approaches, providing actionable insights back to the business on shopper behavior and campaign performance.Collaboration:Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners.Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions for retailers.Establish and manage partnerships with data providers and shopper marketing agencies (Dunnhumby, Citrus, etc.).Work with designers to craft compelling creative briefs and develop a robust portfolio of shopper marketing assets.You:We’re looking for someone who thrives on turning big ideas into reality, someone who’s ready to push boundaries, and work with cross-functional teams to create bespoke marketing solutions for leading retailers.Proven experience in shopper marketing, ideally within blue-chip FMCG or a high-growth SME.Deep understanding of the full shopper marketing mix, from strategy to execution.Confidence in managing retailer relationships and attending key meetings.Experience with shopper marketing agencies and data providers such as Dunnhumby, Citrus, or Beats.Strong commercial focus with a passion for driving sales and ROI.Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.If you're ready to bring your strategic vision, creativity, and passion for shopper marketing to a role where you can truly make an impact, we’d love to hear from you!
