Production Planner

PRODUCTION PLANNER CMB Recruitment has been exclusively retained by one of Northern Irelands leading food manufacturing companies, Avondale Foods to source a Production Planner. With a start time of 6am and finish of 2.30pm this role may suit candidates with children of school age re school collections and child minding. Based in Lurgan, Avondale Foods is one of Northern Irelands largest and most successful food manufacturing companies employing circa 500 people with a turnover in excess of £75M, supplying leading retailers in the UK and carrying an extensive range of own brand products. Their steady and successful growth is based upon a talented workforce and Senior Team with the ability to lead and influence product development in a diverse and competitive market whilst maintaining leading quality standards. THE ROLE Reporting to the Production Planning Manager you will be responsible for: Developing a range of time sensitive production schedules in the company ERP system in line with customer orders Liaising closely with production departments to ensure the seamless processing of on time products in the correct quantities. Forecasting and maintaining files for all stock items. Liaising with customers around availability of products. Adhering to company policies around Food Safety/Health and Safety etc. THE PERSON 3 years experience in a similar Production Planning role ideally within an FMCG environment although we will consider candidates with relevant experience in other industry sectors. Experience in using bespoke ERP planning systems. The ability to simultaneously manage a number of schedules to maximise factory production efficiency.
