The role is: Based at onsite in Hyde, where we are looking for a well-rounded individual to support with the inspection, verification and validation of products and components from initial arrival to the site throughout all stages of production to ensure process control requirements and quality standards are being maintained. Success in the role is measured through the sites performance against QHSE objectives and targets, with continually reducing numbers of nonconformities/incidents supporting the current team on site. Key responsibilities include Create and manage inspection plans for supplied components. Inspect components/products at goods-in, during processing and prior to despatch in accordance with Process Control Procedures and Quality Plans, ensuring they conform to specifications. Ensure all records and reports of inspections and checks are maintained. Analyse, review and verify relevant specifications and certification. Assist in Internal Auditing. Inspect supplier approval samples and produce sample reports. Carry out H&S and Environmental obligations in line with the compliance calendar. Always observe health and safety regulations. Ensure company procedures are always followed. Identify, record and report Non-Conformances and support the satisfactory closure of NCRs. Control and maintain measuring equipment within the calibration system. Input and support for all Lean / Continuous Improvement activities. Deputise for QHSE Lead at SQDIPM meetings as required. Assist with PPI counts, stock batch controls and stock query checks. Assist with warehouse functions relating to product put-away. What will you bring to the role? Have previous experience in a Quality, Health & Safety or Environmental role. Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001) are desirable. Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH) would be an advantage. Strong communication skills and IT literacy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Pragmatic and flexible working ethos. Willingness to continually learn. Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels to include senior stakeholders. Excellent organisation / time management skills. What do you get in return?
